Our aim is to safeguard user privacy in compliance with legislation and company policy and to explain how personal data is collected, used, stored and handled in order to best achieve this aim.
Personal information such as name, telephone numbers, postal and email addresses may be provided to us either verbally, through written correspondence or electronically and will only be used to provide a requested service or provision. Information is only processed by officially authorised Abbot and Slater personnel and is only held with the prior authorised consent of the user until the requested service or provision has been actioned, authorisation is withdrawn or until legal requirements have been satisfied. Personal information will not be disclosed to a third party unless prior permission has been granted or we are required to meet legal obligations. No unsolicited personalised marketing material will be sent to any individual or company.
Protecting your data privacy is both a legal requirement and paramount to Abbot and Slater’s business model, where trust and confidentiality need to be assured. We adopt strict procedures in regard to data security, both electronically and physically. Computers are protected electronically and physically with access tightly controlled. Non electronic files and correspondence are securely stored and access is also highly restricted. An out of office clear desk policy is strictly enforced.
Liaisons and Links:
The Mayfair Office plays an important role in our marketing strategies. Abbot and Slater may on occasions seek permission from those choosing to list their properties with us, to provide limited personal data to facilitate this liaison with the central London office and their network of Agents. This network of offices provides unprecedented access to buyers moving from all over the UK as well as London and the Home Counties.
